A Straight Run Up the Corridor
San Antonio and Buda sit on the same stretch of I-35, with Buda just south of Austin. The drive is direct, and the route is familiar to anyone who has run freight, hauled equipment, or headed north out of San Antonio for any reason. For an operator with an oversized unit in need of collision repair, that puts our facility inside a short trip rather than a haul.
Aguirrie Paint & Body has been at 17200 S. IH 35, Buda, TX 78610 since 1978, and the facility was set up for oversized and specialty collision work from the start. San Antonio-area fleet operators, RV owners, and specialty vehicle operators come up the corridor for that setup.
What San Antonio Operators Bring to Us
The work we see from the San Antonio market falls into four categories.

The Technicians Doing the Work
Many members of our staff have over 30 years of individual experience in collision repair. They are highly trained, and they are cherished members of this business. They have worked on commercial fleets, motorhomes, fire apparatus, and specialty units across four decades of changes in how vehicles are built. For a San Antonio operator who has sent work up the corridor before, that tenure is the reason the second repair looks like the first one.
One Family Business to Another
San Antonio has a long history of family-owned trucking outfits, family-run RV operations, and multigenerational fleet businesses, and some have been operating for decades.
Aguirrie Paint & Body has been family-owned since 1978. Anthony founded the facility, and his son runs it now as a second-generation operation. For a San Antonio family business deciding where to send a unit, that setup has practical consequences. The owners are on site. The person who owns the business is the person who answers for the repair. If you want to sit down, ask questions, and understand exactly what is happening with your vehicle before any work begins, we will take the time.
Come Up and See the Facility First
The drive from San Antonio is short enough that plenty of operators come up before they commit to anything, and we would rather you did.
Walk in, and we will show you the bays the unit would be worked on in, the booth it would be refinished in, and the frame equipment that would be used on it. We will look at photographs of the damage, or at the unit itself if you brought it, and tell you what we are seeing. If you want the technical detail on how the repair would be sequenced, ask for it. For 46 years our family has operated on the principle that an educated customer is a confident one, and that is easier to demonstrate standing in the facility than over the phone.
The Insurance Side of the Repair
A standard visual estimate is often an incomplete picture of collision damage. The adjuster writes up the panel damage, and the structural damage surfaces later, once the repair is underway.
We use a blue print process for every collision repair. This is a systematic technical teardown and inspection of the vehicle’s frame and internal components, performed before the repair begins. Our highly trained technicians identify how the energy from the impact transferred through the chassis, document every point of damage with photographs, and provide your carrier with the documentation needed to cover a complete repair to pre-accident condition. The full scope goes to the carrier at the start rather than after the work is underway.
A Central Texas Collision Facility Serving San Antonio
Our facility is located at 17200 S. IH 35, Buda, TX 78610, on the I-35 corridor north of San Antonio. For operators in Bexar County and the counties along the corridor, including Guadalupe and Comal and the communities up toward New Braunfels and San Marcos, the trip is shorter still.
A Legacy of Safety and Responsibility
Since 1993, Aguirrie Paint & Body has voluntarily participated in the OSHA Consultants program. This program brings an OSHA consultant on-site to evaluate workplace and environmental practices throughout our facility, including electrical safety, equipment upkeep, the handling of hazardous materials, and the conditions our technicians work in. A facility that is well-kept and well-equipped is one that produces consistent, high-quality collision repair, and our participation in this program is one of the ways we hold ourselves to that standard. We have been awarded the highest rankings for our commitment to safety and health standards.
Beyond our staff’s safety, we prioritize the environment. Every hazardous material used in our refinishing process is recycled to keep our facility’s impact on the Central Texas environment as small as possible.
Stop By or Give Us a Call
If you operate a commercial vehicle, RV, or specialty unit in the San Antonio area and you have a unit in need of collision repair, call us or stop by. We will look at the vehicle, walk you through the scope of the work, and give you a straight answer on what it will take to bring the unit back to pre-accident condition. For San Antonio operators, the drive up the corridor is short, and the conversation can happen in person or over the phone before the unit makes the trip.
