Beyond the Four Metros
Most of Texas is not Austin, Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio. It is the freight corridors through East Texas, the oilfield service routes across the Permian, the agricultural and logistics traffic through the Rio Grande Valley, the port work around the Coastal Bend, and the long stretches of I-35 and I-20 that connect all of it.
Aguirrie Paint & Body has performed collision repair from 17200 S. IH 35, Buda, TX 78610 since 1978. The facility sits on I-35 between Austin and San Antonio, which puts it inside a day’s drive of most of the state. We have 28 oversized bays, an 82-foot downdraft bake oven spray booth that is one of the largest in Central Texas, Bee Line brand frame and alignment equipment designed for the weight and torque of larger vehicles, and the on-site capability to fabricate discontinued parts for older equipment and specialized vehicles that are no longer supported by manufacturers.
If you are running units beyond the major metros, this page covers what we repair and what to sort out before a unit makes a long trip.

The Units the Rest of Texas Runs
Different parts of the state run different equipment, and the collision damage follows the work.
Bringing a Unit In From a Long Way Out
A trip from West Texas, the Panhandle, or the Valley is a different proposition than a drive up from San Marcos. Two things are worth settling before anything moves.
If the unit is drivable, call first. Tell us the year, make, and chassis, describe the damage, and send photographs. We will tell you what the repair is likely to involve before the unit leaves your yard, and we will schedule the arrival so it goes into assessment when it gets here.
If the unit is not drivable, you’ll want to arrange transport, and we will coordinate on timing so the facility is ready when it lands. Tell us the carrier and the window and we will work to it.
Either way, tell your adjuster where the unit is going and that a technical teardown and inspection will be documented on arrival. That points the claim at the full scope from the start rather than at a visual estimate written a long way from our bay.
A Family-Owned Texas Business Since 1978
Aguirrie Paint & Body has been family-owned since 1978. Anthony built the business from the ground up, and his son runs it now as a second-generation operation. Over 46 years, the ownership has stayed in the family, the owners have stayed on site, and the work has stayed personal.
For an operator sending a unit a long way from home, that has a practical consequence. The person who owns the business is the person who answers for the repair, and the technicians who handled the last unit are the ones handling the next. If you want to walk through the work in detail, we will take the time, whether that happens standing in the facility or over the phone.
RV Owners Traveling Texas
A collision does not wait until you are home. Plenty of RV and motorhome damage happens mid-trip, on a highway hundreds of miles from where the unit is registered, and the owner is left deciding what to do with a damaged rig away from home.
Our facility is on I-35 between Austin and San Antonio, a corridor a lot of cross-state travel runs through. We perform collision repair on Class A through Class C Motorhomes, 5th Wheel RVs, and Bumper Pull trailers. At 82 feet, our downdraft bake oven spray booth takes a Class A motorhome at full length, so the section refinishing happens in one controlled, high-heat pass. All section refinishing is performed using the Sherwin Williams system for precision color matching and a durable finish to pre-accident condition, and we refinish only the areas affected by the collision.
If you have been living in the unit, review the drop-off checklist on our RV page before you arrive. It covers valuables, perishables, pets, plants, and the items that shift during a repair.
Older Equipment and Parts That Are No Longer Made
Fleets away from the major metros tend to run equipment longer, and older units are where the parts problem shows up. A suspension U-bolt configuration no manufacturer produces anymore. Structural hardware a factory stopped making. A specialty build with components that were never standardized.
Our facility has the on-site capability to fabricate discontinued parts for older equipment and specialized vehicles that are no longer supported by manufacturers. Custom U-bolts and other suspension hardware are produced here, measured against the unit itself and sized to it, as part of returning the vehicle to pre-accident condition. When a discontinued part has to be custom made anyway, having it made in the same facility performing the repair keeps the whole job in one place.
The Blue Print Process
A standard visual estimate is often an incomplete picture of collision damage. The adjuster writes up the panel damage, and the structural damage surfaces later, once the repair is underway.
We use a blue print process for every collision repair. This is a systematic technical teardown and inspection of the vehicle’s frame and internal components, performed before the repair begins. Our highly trained technicians identify how the energy from the impact transferred through the chassis, document every point of damage with photographs, and provide your carrier with the documentation needed to cover a complete repair to pre-accident condition.

The Technicians Behind the Work
The collision repair coming out of our facility is performed by highly trained technicians who have been here for years. Many members of our staff have over 30 years of individual experience in collision repair. They have worked on commercial fleets, motorhomes, fire apparatus, and specialty units across four decades of changes in how vehicles are built and what they are made of. They are cherished members of this business, and that range means a unit they have not seen before is still a unit they know how to work on.
A Legacy of Safety and Responsibility
Since 1993, Aguirrie Paint & Body has voluntarily participated in the OSHA Consultants program. This program brings an OSHA consultant on-site to evaluate workplace and environmental practices throughout our facility, including electrical safety, equipment upkeep, the handling of hazardous materials, and the conditions our technicians work in. A facility that is well-kept and well-equipped is one that produces consistent, high-quality collision repair, and our participation in this program is one of the ways we hold ourselves to that standard. We have been awarded the highest rankings for our commitment to safety and health standards.
Beyond our staff’s safety, we prioritize the environment. Every hazardous material used in our refinishing process is recycled to keep our facility’s impact on the Central Texas environment as small as possible.

Stop By or Give Us a Call
If you operate a commercial vehicle, RV, or specialty unit anywhere in Texas and you have a unit in need of collision repair, call us. We will look at the photographs or the vehicle, walk you through the scope of the work, and give you a straight answer on what it will take to bring the unit back to pre-accident condition. For operators making a long trip, that conversation happens before the unit is on the road.
