Correcting Heavy-Duty Frames

The Structural Damage You Cannot See From the Outside

A collision does not stop at the panel that took the hit. The force of an impact travels through the chassis, and on a heavy-duty vehicle the damage that matters most is often the damage you cannot see from the outside. A bent frame will not announce itself in the parking lot, and a compromised suspension component can keep carrying a load right up until it doesn’t.

Aguirrie Paint & Body has been correcting heavy-duty frame and suspension damage in Buda, TX since 1978. Our facility sits on the I-35 corridor between Austin and San Antonio, and it is set up for the size and weight of oversized vehicles: 28 oversized bays, Bee Line brand frame and alignment equipment, and on-site fabrication for parts that are no longer in the supply chain.

Every frame and suspension repair performed here is completed to pre-accident condition and verified before the vehicle leaves the facility.

WHAT WE DO

Frame and Suspension Services

Structural Frame Correction

Heavy-duty frame damage is what our Bee Line equipment was brought in for. When a commercial truck, RV, or specialty vehicle takes a hard impact, the frame can bow, twist, or shift out of alignment in ways a visual walkthrough will not catch. Our highly trained technicians use Bee Line technology to straighten the frame back to manufacturer specifications, and the correction is measured and documented before the unit moves forward in the repair. The frame is brought back to pre-accident condition.

Computerized Laser Alignment

After a heavier collision that may have affected the frame or alignment, we perform computerized laser alignments and front and rear axle corrections for heavy-duty, medium-duty, and multi-passenger vehicles. The equipment is calibrated for the load capacity and frame geometry of the units we work on. Alignment is also offered when there are clear signs the vehicle is no longer tracking correctly, such as tires wearing tread quickly or unevenly, or upon customer request.

Suspension Repair

Heavy-duty suspension carries weight that nothing on a passenger vehicle ever sees. When a collision damages these systems, the unit cannot safely carry its rated load until the repair is completed. We provide specialized suspension repair for high-capacity hauling units, shuttle vans, sprinter and transit vans, motorhomes, and 5th wheel RVs. This work often goes hand in hand with frame correction and alignment, and we handle all three under one roof so the repair is completed as one job.

Custom Component Fabrication

Some commercial units, especially older trucks and specialized vehicles, run on suspension and frame parts that are no longer in the supply chain. Our facility has the on-site capability to fabricate components, including U-bolts and other suspension parts, sized for the specific requirements of the unit we are working on. The part is built for the vehicle rather than ordered and adapted, and the work happens in the same facility where the rest of the repair is being done.

Structural Safety Checks

After collision repair is complete, we perform a technical inspection of the repaired areas to verify the work meets the vehicle’s original manufacturer specifications. This includes the frame, suspension, and other structural components affected by the collision, so the vehicle is returned to pre-accident condition before it goes back to the owner or the fleet manager.

Bee Line Frame and Alignment Equipment

We use Bee Line brand frame and alignment equipment. The Bee Line system was specifically chosen for our facility because it is built for the weight, length, and torque of heavy-duty commercial frames, Class A motorhomes, and fire apparatus.

The system measures frame geometry against the manufacturer’s specifications. Our highly trained technicians use it to identify the exact points of compromise, bring the frame back within factory tolerances, and verify the correction before the vehicle moves to the next stage of the repair. Those measurements are documented as part of the repair file.

Working With Your Insurance Carrier: The Blue Print Process

Frame and suspension damage is where collision claims tend to get complicated. A standard visual estimate is often an incomplete picture of the damage, and an adjuster who walks around a commercial truck or motorhome and writes up what is visible will miss what the chassis took on impact.

We utilize a “blue print” process for every collision repair. This is a systematic technical teardown and inspection of the vehicle’s frame and internal components that goes beyond an exterior walkthrough. Our highly trained technicians identify energy transfer through the chassis, document every point of damage with photographs, and provide the complete findings to the insurance carrier before the repair begins.

The process provides your carrier with the documentation needed to cover a complete repair to pre-accident condition. For fleet managers, RV owners, and specialty vehicle operators, that means a clearer picture of the scope from day one and a frame and suspension repair that is documented in full before any work starts.

The Vehicles We Work On

Our frame and suspension setup is built for oversized and large-scale vehicles. The vehicle scope at our facility includes:

  • Commercial and Work Trucks: We provide heavy-duty frame and body repair for vocational trucks, 18-wheelers, and delivery fleets. Our facility handles the impact damage unique to working vehicles, repairing them to pre-accident condition.

  • Medium Duty and Multi-Passenger Units: We provide dedicated collision repair for Sprinter Vans, Transit Vans, church buses, shuttle vans, and retirement community transports. The structural integrity of the passenger cell is the priority on these units, and the work is completed to manufacturer safety specifications.

  • RVs and Motorhomes: We perform frame correction and suspension repair for Class A through Class C motorhomes, 5th Wheel RVs, and Bumper Pull trailers. This includes the ability to perform Spartan RV Chassis repairs.

  • Spartan Certified Warranty Repair Facility: As a Spartan Certified Warranty Repair Facility, we are authorized to perform chassis and collision warranty work on any vehicle built on a Spartan foundation, including RVs, box trucks, and fire apparatus. This certification means Spartan representatives trust our technicians to maintain the standards of their brand.

  • Specialty and Emergency Vehicles: We perform frame and suspension repair for Fire Trucks, Ambulances, and School Buses. These life-saving assets require a level of quality that is non-negotiable.

A Family-Owned Collision Facility Since 1978

Aguirrie Paint & Body has been a family-owned collision facility for over 46 years. Anthony founded the business in 1978, and his son runs it now as a second-generation operation. The values it was built on, honest labor, straight answers, and quality work that holds up, have not changed.

If you have a commercial vehicle, RV, or specialty unit with frame or suspension damage and you want to sit down, ask questions, and understand exactly what the repair will involve, you are welcome to walk in. If you would rather hand us the keys and trust us to handle the repair, we can do that too.

SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT

A Legacy of Safety and Responsibility

Since 1993, Aguirrie Paint & Body has voluntarily participated in the OSHA Consultants program. This program brings an OSHA consultant on-site to evaluate workplace and environmental practices throughout our facility, including electrical safety, equipment upkeep, the handling of hazardous materials, and the conditions our technicians work in. A facility that is well-kept and well-equipped is one that produces consistent, high-quality collision repair, and our participation in this program is one of the ways we hold ourselves to that standard. We have been awarded the highest rankings for our commitment to safety and health standards.

Beyond our staff’s safety, we prioritize the environment. Every hazardous material used in our refinishing process is recycled to keep our facility’s impact on the Central Texas environment as small as possible.

Aguirrie is great. Dropped my Ford F 550 off to get some major damage fixed and had the truck back in 4 business days. Very impressed and will be using them again for my other vehicles that get body damage.

Did not get paint or body work done here. My friend and I had a flat tire and Phillip was so kind and called a tire shop out to come and help us and made the whole process so much less stressful. Phillips a real one and if we ever get a truck and need paint and body work we know where to go
